Clare: what do you do here? I'm Account Director for Our Lasting Tribute, and I have been since autumn 2005.

What made that sound like a good idea? I've been a fundraiser in the charity sector for the past eight years, for charities large and small. I've had some amazing experiences in that time, and feel privileged to have worked with some inspiring people. Working in this sector has meant I have visited some pretty diverse places - from HMP Wandsworth to Chilean Patagonia to Beckingham Palace – and have seen and learned a thing or two along the way. My most recent position was managing the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK - a Tribute Fund which is raising millions for bowel cancer research. I care passionately about what I do, and love working with like-minded people here at Whitewater/OLT.

Stop it, we're going all misty. Have you had any truly great and memorable moments in your tenure here at Whitewater Towers? My best Whitewater moment has got to be getting lost with Couldry in the Chiltern Hills while we were planning Whitewater's Walk for Miriam (hang on a minute.. wasn't that my worst?....hmm).

It takes a special kind of person to survive that kind of ordeal - what's your personal philosophy Clare? Non illigitimus carberendum (although I'm not sure about the spelling) That's the best philosophy we've heard all day!

This interview is going fabulously - what's the best way to thank you? A trip somewhere beautiful, a good night out, a new pair of shoes.

Excellent - we'll jump on that right away. Anything else you want to add? I'm a brown belt kickboxer.

(yikes)

Thanks Clare! You've been marvy!
